MEHAR organized the screening of all our films as a part of our celebration of World Mental Health Day on October 10,2023. The event took place at Film.Ca Cinemas in Oakville Ontario. The entry was free and we organized two shows to accommodate working members. The audience enjoyed watching the films and learning about mental health in a very engaging format. The Q&A session was facilitated by our mental health expert Dr. Kanwal Kukreja. The Film.Ca Cinemas was especially impressed by the unique format of using films for awareness and generously offered partnership in this event. We are inspired to demonstrate our commitment to promote solidarity on such special occasions.
